I work primarily with textiles, collage, and found materials. The last couple of years I’ve developed a body of work including plant dyed textiles and paper, embroidery, paper based collage and silk screen prints. Central themes in my practice are transience and the traces of time. I am drawn to things that dissolve and nearly disappear — or take on a new form. I like to work with an understated expression, with near-invisible interventions, subtle nuances of colour, and a focus on juxtaposition of materials. I work intuitively and attentively, seeking to capture moods, narratives, voices, and stories in encounters with people, a particular place, or a material.

Alongside a studio-based and exploratory practice, I also collaborate with others or in various ways invite people into my work. I am engaged with the role and potential of art within (local) communities, and interested in the meeting between art, place, and people. In 2026, together with Tone Einelia, I published the book Finna stad with Skald forlag - a book that explores the possibilities of art in encounter with local communities and people.
